  • Telecom Sourcing
Telecom sourcing includes price and contract benchmarking, RFP management, vendor contract negotiations and strategy development. In our experience, telecom sourcing can generate an average savings from 10 percent to 35 percent depending on the rates that were agreed to in existing contracts.A higher spend could possibly mean higher savings through a good negotiation. It is recommended that the process of sourcing be started at least six months before the expiration of the existing contracts.

  • Telecom Network Design & Implementation
Today's network-based economy has accelerated the evolution of the distributed enterprise, often comprised of a headquarter facility, several regional sites and many branch offices around the world, all working together as one integrated business entity. The connectivity that enables users to share information and applications powering business is the foundation of the Wide Area Network's infrastructure. When the client's WAN does not perform well, business does not perform well. Employee and overall business productivity suffers when users are forced to compete for WAN bandwidth and wait for access to business-critical applications. The demand for bandwidth will always increase as richer applications are deployed. WAN design must strike the balance between demand and supply of bandwidth and the speed of delivery. When businesses merge or acquire new ones, enterprises undergo integration, consolidation and migration of WAN services and technologies. The migration of the network from one carrier to another is performed in a controlled and incremental manner to significantly reduce both costs and risks associated with the process. This involves providing assurances about network backup, recovery and security; reducing opportunities for error; eliminating repetitive processes, minimizing disruption to end users during the migration; and providing a framework for the ongoing training and maintenance that network migration requires.

  • Key steps in successful migration:
    • Preparation
      • Enterprise needs and impact analysis
      • Migration planning and cost analysis
      • Prioritization of migration tasks
      • Pre-migration testing and preparation
    • Migration and roll-out
    • Post-migration
      • Training
      • Support
      • Maintenance
  • TELECOMERS designs solutions based on client's business, technical and financial needs using proven technologies and services.

  • VoIP Design & Implementation
Voice over IP (VoIP) is gaining wide acceptance today. VoIP, currently viewed as a viable technology alternative to PSTN, involves the transmission of voice conversations over packet-switched IP data networks, such as private enterprise LANs, WANs, intranets and the Internet. But more specifically, IP telephony involves the delivery of the telephony application over IP, instead of a circuit-switched network.

    Service Types:
    • Network based: Enterprise VoIP service offered by telecom carriers where transport and telephony applications are provided in the network.
    • Premise based: Enterprise VoIP service where transport is provided by the telecom carrier and telephony applications are provided by the equipment located at client's premise.

  • VoIP system vendors offer pure IP based and IP-enabled systems. With evolutionary roadmaps laid out by the vendors, traditional PBX systems can accommodate a range of IP-oriented components VoIP trunks and gateways, VoIP line and station cards, and IP telephones and soft phones allowing customers the option to gradually migrate their PBX systems to support IP telephony if desired. This mix of IP and TDM technology in today's PBX solutions is known as a hybrid approach. The bottom line for customers opting for the hybrid approach is that they can retain most or all of their existing TDM equipment investment (although some hardware and software upgrading may be required), and add IP-telephony components and users as required. TELECOMERS partner with vendors to architect solutions that meet client's specific requirement.

  • Telecom Network Security
TELECOMERS security solution partners offer a managed hardware and software solution that bundles a firewall system with administration, proactive monitoring and report generation. Managed Firewall addresses known security vulnerabilities and exposures, yet allows you to implement your own security policy and protective features over time. The solution delivers secure Internet access while minimizing and in some cases, eliminating the burden of firewall administration. Our solution partner will also assist with firewall installation and configuration.
